Nexus Services Group

Nexus Services Group provides educational services to support schools. It is backed by Nexus Multi Academy Trust, which runs its own group of academies.

Our task was to create a new brand identity and brand guidelines for Nexus. We were asked to give the organisation a clear and distinctive identity of its own, while maintaining a strong connection to the Trust and creating a flexible foundation for its growing portfolio of services.

A brand built to connect education and services

Nexus Services Group brings together expertise, resources and strategic support to help schools and the wider education system. Its role is about connection: bringing different services together within one aligned structure, while ensuring that each area can develop its own identity and purpose.

The new brand needed to reflect that multi-faceted role. It needed to feel professional, while still communicating the organisation’s deep commitment to education, collaboration and public purpose.

A visual identity with a clear point of connection

At the centre of the new identity is a distinctive multicoloured ‘X’ device, formed from four directional arrows converging towards a single focal point. The symbol represents Nexus Services Group as the connector between schools and services, bringing together expertise and resources.

The four colours reflect the dynamic range of services delivered under the Nexus umbrella. Each segment can operate independently, but they come together at the centre to reinforce collaboration and shared purpose.

We developed a complete set of brand guidelines covering the logo, approved variations, exclusion zones, usage restrictions, sub-brand architecture, colour palette, typography and imagery. The guidelines provide a clear framework for maintaining consistency, while giving the wider Nexus portfolio the flexibility it needs to grow.

The result is a confident, contemporary identity that gives Nexus Services Group a clear presence of its own, while visually connecting it to the wider Nexus structure. The team now have a usable, flexible brand system designed to bring different services together.

If your organisation has expanded its services, we can help you create a brand that brings everything together.
