My name is Clara Rose, I am 14-years old and I am from Germany. I am currently in 9th grade and completing a two-week internship at a marketing company in Sheffield. I am interested in marketing because it is a very wide ranging and complex field and I wanted to learn what it takes to work in marketing. For me it is very interesting to see how to work there and how to design websites, planning campaigns, creating content, managing social media and working with a team. Next to this the work placement is also a good chance for me to learn and speak more English and seeing a different culture. I do this placement in the UK because we know people in the UK and that’s why I had the chance to do an international work placement. I hope some of the qualities I can bring with in this job. I am very motivated, I have social skills, I am able to work in a team, and I try to bring with new ideas, so this is an unforgettable experience.
